“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,
and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a
second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Message from The Head Of School
We have had Open House and Early Enrollment Week so I know you have a lot of different things going on in your mind about next year. I know that one of your concerns is “who will be our new Head Master?” I can tell you that the committee searching for a new HM is a good combination of parents, school board members, a teacher, and me. We have been studying the applications and after a meeting on Sunday, will be starting the interview stage to enable a face to face experience with the applicants. Please know that all involved in this process love St. John’s and will make the right choice for our school’s needs.
Thank you,
Kaye Nelson,
Head of School

- There will be a PTO meeting on Wednesday, March 9th at 5:15, in the art room. We haven’t had one in a while, so don’t miss this one. We will get a report on the auction and there are many other things to discuss. Please try to come.
- Don’t forget the Black and White Auction on Saturday Night at 6:30. Lots of great things have been turned in for the auction. We can’t even begin to pick which ones to list here. You will have to come to the auction to see. For a great time, we will see you there!
- It’s not too late to bring a fabulous creation to the St. John’s Dessert Auction!!!
Thank you to all who are participating in the dessert auction at this year’s Black and White Ball. Please bring your dessert to the “Dessert Table” in Wade Dalton Hall either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. You may also bring your dessert the night of the auction, but it is easier for me if I receive most of them early to properly display your creations.
Please make sure your dessert is clearly labeled with a primary description of the dessert including any ingredients for allergy sensitive information. For example, Pecan Coconut Apple Rum Cake with Chocolate Peanut Glaze. ( I made this up)
Looking forward to this St John’s Black and White Ball!
Sincerely,
Brigett Foster
