Dear St. John’s Family,
I am thrilled to be named Head of School at St. John’s Episopal School. It is an honor to join the community.
From my first phone call with members of the Board, I was impressed with the school’s mission and vision. Everyone I met in the community was deeply proud of founding the school, and ambitious about its future. I am tremendously excited to be leading what will be one of the premier Episcopal schools in the city, in a community that shares my enthusiasm for preparing young children for their educational journey.
If I were to look into the future of St. John’s, what do I see? Imagine a school with educational excellence, a strong and cohesive community, and a clear identity. Envision a school that meets the needs of each student and family, cultivates values and ethical behavior, ensures Episcopal continuity and vitality, creats the leaders of tomorrow, promotes life-long learning, and inspires a new generation of students who choose their Christian education to create a better world.
As we enter into our new academic year, my prayers are that our school and families are blessed.
Warmly,
Joe Norton
Head of School

Parents, once again, we are reminding you that students are NOT to enter school before 8:15 through the blue doors, school end. They must come in the carpool door and go straight to BAC. There is no supervision at the school end. There are students wandering the building unsupervised. This is a security issue. Please, do not use the blue doors before 8:15.
