Enrollment
A $50.00 enrollment fee is to be paid at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Completed enrollment forms, emergency information instructions, and a current immunization record will also be turned in at time of enrollment. The Director needs to be notified immediately of any changes in your information.
Tuition
This program is Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. We provide full time care. Tuition may be paid weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. The tuition you pay is calculated by the week as follows:
| Nursery | $175.00 per week |
| One-Year Olds | $160.00 per week |
| Two-Year Olds | $150.00 per week |
| Three-Year Olds | $140.00 per week |
d
If you pay every two weeks or monthly you must account for the months that have five weeks in them. It will not work to pay on the first and the fifteenth of every month because this does not allow for that fifth week. The office must be aware of what type of payment you are planning to use. If it is twice a month or a monthly, it must be made prior to the month of service rather than after. If you are one week late in making your payments you will need to bring that payment plus the current week’s payment to the finance office of St. John’s. Questions regarding your tuition should be addressed to Pollye McCown, Office Manager.
Procedures for Attendance
Children attending CDP must be within the age limits for each classroom. If a child breaks a rule or is disruptive or harmful to themselves or others, the first time will be handled by the teacher. If the behavior continues or becomes worse and hinders the teachers from having a productive classroom, the parents will be called to pick up their child. If a third incident occurs, the parents will be required to have a conference with the teacher and director. The child could be asked to leave the program.
Because all students are individuals, and St. John’s is committed to their individual integrity, the school reserves the right to treat each disciplinary case on its individul merits, the Head of School and the Director being the final authorities.
Snack, Lunch and Supplies
Morning snack, a nutritional lunch, and afternoon snack will be provided. Children over the age of 12 months are not permitted to bring their lunch unless they are on a special diet presecribed by their physician or due to religious beliefs/preferences. In the event a special diet is required due to allergy or intolerance, a note from your child’s physician will suffice. In the event of religious preference, please send a note to keep in your child’s records. Parents understand that they need to send the appropriate amount of diapers for their child per day. Other items that must be provided by parents are: 3 boxes of wipes per month, and an extra change of clothes (socks included) daily. You may send a special blanket or cuddle friend for naptime. Please be sure to clearly label all items with your child’s name.
Closings
CDP will close several days at Christmas, New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, two days for July 4th, Labor Day and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving. Full tuition is due for these weeks. In the event of bad weather, and the school closes the CDP will close also. These announcements will be listed on the local T.V. networks school closings.
Miscellaneous
Pick up time is no later than 6:00pm. A late charge of $5.00 will be assessed after 6:05pm. The director will determine if a late fee is warranted or will be waived. Late fees should be paid that day or the next day your child attends daycare.
