Letter from the President of the School Board
Dear Parents and Patrons,
Our family has been part of the St. John’s community since 1997 when my husband and I started attending the Church. We specifically joined St. John’s because of the Church family and reputation of the school. Our daughter started school here in 2003. Her love for learning has been encouraged from the first day of Pre-School 3. Since then, we have heard amazement from people outside the community about her enthusiasm for school, inquisitiveness and sportsmanship. We feel that the quality of education along with Christian values that our children receive at St. John’s School or the Child Development Program has been just as rewarding. With this in mind, I ask that you prayerfully consider a generous donation to the Annual Giving Campaign.
Why give to St. John’s Episcopal School?
The education offered at St. John’s is second to none in the Oklahoma City area. Our faculty and staff are outstanding and we are truly fortunate to have such great people both in the school and the Child Development Program. Our Christian environment is safe, loving, nurturing, caring, and supportive for both the parent and the student. Our mission is not only to provide your child with an excellent, well-rounded education, but also to instill a lifelong love of learning and achievement as is stated in our Mission Statement.
Why an annual giving campaign?
The money raised allows your school to continue to provide the best education possible. St. John’s does not operate solely on tuition. St. John’s Episcopal School serves as a ministry of St. John’s Episcopal Church. With the support of the Church, along with tuition, auction proceeds, PTO fundraisers, grants, endowment fund income as well as this annual giving campaign, the school administration and board can continue to offer not only the educational basics but also additional programs, such as art, drama, music, technology, physical education, and band.
This is the time to recognize all of the things we are thankful for and celebrate our loving and caring God during this Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Will you take a moment to reflect not only on the education but the foundation for life your child has received from St. John’s? With your generosity this institution will serve children for many years to come. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and loving support.
Sincerely,
Noel Walker
President St. John’s Episcopal School Board
